Conference Facilities

The Hotel has a total of 32 bedrooms with 106 beds and 56 sleeper couches/bunks, including the houseboats. Our meals are best described as traditional “South African Home Cooking” and Dinners are served as a Table d’hôte menu. We cater for vegetarians and vegans on request.

We have a large conference center that can accommodate up to 120 people. The conference centre is equipped with an overhead & data projector & Screen; flipcharts are supplied for your use.

Water sport activities are very much the focus at the Breede River. Wide bodied canoes and small motorboats are available for hire as well as a pedalo (paddleboat). Birdlife is excellent with fish eagle, kingfisher, Osprey, Egyptian geese and ducks often seen. 197 bird species have been identified. There is a volley ball net for recreation as well as a Croquet set. Board games are available from Reception.

The hotel is situated on the banks of the Breede River with river frontage and overlooks the “Ferry”. Then, in the evening, a comfortable pub ensures fun and relaxation for our delegates. We have a pool table and darts available in our pub.

The conference Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Package is only applicable if the Conference Package is taken. Special Rates are applicable for 50 or more delegates.

The following will give you an idea of what is available. We will however accommodate you wherever possible. We cater for Vegetarian and other dietary requirements if notified in advance. Please note that our kitchen is not Halaal.
